We check the age and condition of the roof and any underlying issues that could stop a repair from working. If your roof is repairable we’ll tell you. If we think a repair won’t succeed or isn’t worth it, we’ll tell you that too, with our professional advice on what to do instead.
For repairs we specialise in tile and metal roofs, plus some other materials. For full roof replacements we specialise in metal roofing, including converting tile roofs to metal.
Metal roofs are durable and long lasting, anywhere from 30 to 100+ years depending on the metal. They suit almost any shape, size and pitch, and they’re much lighter than tile, which makes them a good option for older homes needing a new roof. They’re less prone to cracking, warping or damage from hail and branches, and when installed well they’re usually easier to maintain.
Yes. Repairs come with a 2 year workmanship warranty and full roof replacements with a 7 year workmanship warranty. Full warranty details are in our terms and conditions.
It depends on how many trees are near or above the roof: as often as every 6 months, or as rarely as every 2 to 3 years. Our gutter division, Sky Dog Gutter Care, takes before and after photos so you can work out the right interval for your home.
